Friendship Dinner

Last night it was my month to have our Friendship Dinner. These are so much fun and we all look forward to them every month! The table is set...

It was too chilly for appetizers under the pergola, so we moved inside...





The Chicken Balsamico was cooking...




Fresh garlic bread ready for the oven. I also served a spinach salad, three cheese stuffed shells and a dark chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert.

We always play a game after dinner and dessert. We have so much fun!

My Yard

Good Morning All,
I have been working in the yard, alot and things are beginning to bloom everywhere! I have alittle more mulching to do and then I can just do weed control for the rest of the summer. The climbers are so pretty...

Garden Club

Yesterday was such a fun day! The Garden Club girls greenhouse hopped and then had lunch. My good friend, Brenda...(and tennis girl, too!)

It's Beginning To Look Alot Like "Summer"

Cocoa and Theodore

Hi All,
Here are a few pictures of my poochies. We are going over to Debbie's at DebbieDoos and join in her pet party. Our Theodore. He came to us as a stray and decided to stay 3 yrs ago... A true Beagle. Sometimes he is called "Beags."
Beautiful Cocoa. He is 7 yrs old and been with us 5 years. I found him at the shelter.


Part chocolate lab and part spaniel, as close as we can tell. What a sweet natured baby :)


And yes, the pesky little brother, again. He is our little baby and pesky brother to Cocoa :)

Tennis Girl Friendship Dinner

Hi All,
Still raining in Illinois. Tomorrow we are suppose to have some sunshine, yay! We had one of our Friendship dinners last Friday night. Our hostess was Peggy. She has a lovely home and she is a wonderful cook. Appetizers on top of the tennis coffee table. She changes the things under the glass with the seasons or events. So cute.

The Tennis Girls. Our hostess, Peggy is standing next to me. The Tennis Girls are always so happy to be together! My dinner is up next at the end of May. I am thinking Italian food. Yum!
