Tonight I am linking up with Suzanne over at Coloradolady and Vintage Thingy Thursday. Lots of fun posts over there!
Here is my Granny's 1930's Hoosier cabinet all decked out for summer. I put the TV on it so I can see it, alot. :) The plate on the top is Paula Deen, talking about her Grandmother, so I thought it fitting. The sign tucked behind on the top shelf, our carpenter made for us with The Daisy Inn name and the date it was established.
Hope you all have a great evening.
Robin
How sweet is this?!?
ReplyDeleteLove it all, but that little rooster decal really makes me smile! A lot!
Oh my, I just love it and the vignettes you made. I would love to find one of these on my yard sale hunts!
ReplyDeleteOkay, you convinced me I need to bring my cabinet upstairs and enjoy it!

I did not even NOTICE the TV at first! WHAT a clever idea!

ReplyDeleteI do love those cabinets. What a treasure to have from your grandmother! I had to smile when I saw the TV sitting there - perfect marriage of then and now!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic piece and the TV fits there perfectly! Talk about mixing the old with the new, huh?
ReplyDeleteGreat job and I would LOVE to have a hoosier myself!
