Vintage Magazine Monday

Good Morning All,
I thought I would start a new series of posts on Mondays. I have so many vintage magazines, that I would like to start sharing some of the pages and photos with all of you. The photos and illustrations in these old magazines are so beautiful.

This one comes from Better Homes and Gardens, September 1945.The magazine sold for 15 cents. Enjoy!

  1. I love those old magazines. I especially like the ones that feature that iconic rancher that was built all over the US.

  2. Now that's a great collection to have. I'm lovin' that patio with all the lattice. I'm looking forward to seeing more on Mondays.

  3. I love the little courtyard in that picture! I wish I would see old magazines like that, because I have so much fun looking at all of the old ads. Unfortunately any that I do see smell very moldy, like they've been floating in someone's basement!
    Happy Monday!

  5. I just love vintage magazines--especially decorating mags, of course. What a great old photo! It hardly looks dated at all.

  7. Great picture to share. Sure doesn't look like it's from 1945 - looks fresh and sweet and oh so cottagey!
