This week I am featuring Gloria Swanson and Rudolph Valentino. They were never married, but were neighbors wwwaaaaaayyyyyyy back when in Beverly Hills, in the teens into the 20's. Gloria stated in her autobiography, that she and Valentino used to ride their horses together behind her house up in the hills of Beverly. Of course they did! :) Oh yes, and they used dance the tango on her tile floor at her house. Not too shabby!

And Gloria, later is life, still the ultimate movie star! Gloria was a tiny thing, but boy was she a big presence in the movies.
Oh, I love the olden movie "Sunset Boulevard" from your last photo of Gloria! Still every time it comes on the tv, I have to stopped whatever I'm doing and watch it!

Very nice pictures. I like the hat that she's wearing in the first one. I love photos of the classic movie stars. I've only seen her in one movie - Sunset Boulevard.
