Look What I Found!

Good Morning All,

Look what I found!!! I was hunting around in a couple of antique shops the other day and found this beauty. A beautiful silverplate serving tray for $10!
Here she is all shined up!

I love the detail...

I used her for the first time at the tennis girl party to hold the cocktails!
I am linking up today with Suzanne over at Vintage Thingie Thursday.

  1. I have one like this that belonged to my mom, then she gave it to me....I need to clean it up too, if you don't mind me asking, what did you use??? I have tried a couple of things, but they don't clean it up like yours!!! Have a great VTT!

  2. So pretty! This is a great find! I would love to know what you used to clean it, also. I'm not that crazy about the stuff I use and am always looking for something better!

  3. Hi Ladies,
I used TarnX to clean the tray. Good luck!

  4. Anything sliver plated is pretty, but you have to keep it polished all the time to look good. You did a great job on yours.

  6. I don't think it's possible to have too many silver trays - and I love this round one!

  9. Very pretty, and a really good price! So many people these days hate polishing silver, but I think it's a great way to achieve instant gratification! My favorite silver cleaning product is Wright's Silver Cream (made by Weiman). It's gentle, no unpleasant odor, and doesn't leave a white film the way some of the liquid products do.

Hope you have an enjoyable weekend. I checked out some of your previous posts. Loved your tablescape this week!

  14. Oh how beautiful. I'm always on the 'hunt' for pieces of silver/silverplate. I love taking a piece and shining it.
