Tea at The Drake

Good Morning All,
Here are some pictures from tea at The Drake that my daughter and I attended on Saturday. The pretty china...
The beautiful centerpiece at Palm Court, where the tea is held...

Our wonderful scones, sweet bread, tea sandwiches, and petit fours.

YUM!

We love doing the tea. We have done this probably 5 times or more and we still look forward to it each time!
I am linking up with Marty at A Stroll Thru Life and Tabletop Tuesday.

  3. Hello Robin...what a wonderful Mother Daughter thing to do and what a lovely place to have your tea! This reminds me of when my daughter and I were in London with my sister. My sister took us out for TEA across the road from the Tower of London on the river. Oh my...we had all the fancy tea sandwiches scones etc on a tray similar to this. You're so lucky to be able to do this often with your daughter! I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday....Maura :)

  7. Hi Robin! That tea spread is making me hungry!! I love tea sandwiches. I often make them just for myself. There was a time several years ago when I wanted to open a tea shop in a little vintage cottage and serve lovely teas and sell vintage thingies. Ah well, such are dreams!! I'm glad you had a chance to spend the weekend with your lovely daughter. Precious time indeed!!

    Lots of love,
    Susan and Bentley
