Z is for Zelda

Good Morning All,
I am linking up with Jenny and Alphabe-Thursday and the letter is "Z" The girl is Zelda Fitzgerald, wife of F. Scott Fitzgerald. I don't know alot about her, but her photos have always ingtrigued me. I love the clothes from the 20's, so maybe that is it. She was born in 1900 and died in 1948. Lovely photo...
Look at that hat and coat! A photo with her husband, Scott.

  2. Zelda always intrigued me. From sheltered southern belle to muse of a writer who defined his generation - I loved to read about her here.

  4. A few months ago I read a book about Fitzgerald's affair with a woman named Ginevra King. She lived in Lake Forest, IL and was the real love of his life. An unrequited love that inspired him to write The Great Gatsby. Too bad really, Zelda was lovely!!

    Love,
    Susan and Bentley

I love vintage photos and could look at these all day. I think it's just that they remind me of a time when life was much simpler in the world. LOVE her bob!

  12. Now I'm intrigued. I love the roaring 20's. I've known all about her and her husband, of course. But nothing really in depth about her. Will look up her biography. Thanks for sharing.

  15. What lovely vintage pictures. Those clothes are just so charming. That era seems to be so much more filled with romanticism and possibilities. Or perhaps it just seems like simpler times as we muddle through how complicated the world feels somedays.

Thanks for this charming stop on our little journey through Alphabe-Thursday's letter "Z".

    It made me smile.

    A+
