Doing alittle post this evening on my fireplace. The temperature dropped alot today in Illinois, so it's time to start the fireplace! Mama's chair by the fire...
Greenery on the mantel and some poinsetta's in one of my Longaberger baskets...
Mr. Tennis' picture above the mantel. It came from a company he was part owner in, long ago...

Hi Robin! A perfectly charming Christmas mantel! We have to stoke up the fire here too. We received 6 inches of snow last night. A winter wonderland!!! David had to shovel the walk so Bentley could go walkies ~ too deep for him. I'll send some snow your way if you want!!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Susan and Bentley

I so miss having a fireplace. This is our first house without one and we keep trying to figure out a way to put one in...but we have so few walls. It looks warm and cozy and your house. It certainly did get cold around here!
ReplyDeleteRobin,
ReplyDeleteI could definitely snuggle up with a good book and a cup of tea right there in that wonderful spot!!

What a cozy place to sit and enjoy the warmth. I love the lights mixed with the greens. I also put my LB baskets to work every Christmas. Everybody has a job to do: hold the Christmas cards, hold the candy, serve the mini-muffins, etc. Beautiful mantel!
ReplyDeleteI love Mr. Tennis' picture. It is perfect for a winter vignette. I love how you've decorated your fireplace....
