ReplyDeleteI understand that sentiment.. the post that you've put a hand on and the comfort. I still have the glass doorknobs from the house I grew up in. It was a 150 year old farm house, and it came down about 10 years ago, very sad. But for 35 years my family called it home, and I touched that door knob to my bedroom for 18 years.. a very comforting feeling indeed. :-)
