We are expecting more snow. 4-6" by tomorrow, sometime. The photos below are of my Dad in the Army, early 1950's, me in the probably around 1960,, and my Mom in the early 50's. My Granny called us, "The Three Little Bears." :) I miss you, Granny, sniff.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure years ago if it snowed and we did not have school you would be headed to Granny's for the day! Love the pictures...your mom and dad look like movie stars! they knew how to take pictures back then!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the snow, I am off tomorrow so I can watch it all day! Will be home this weekend

I've really learned to love the old pictures even more now that I'm older. What wonderful treasures you have!
ReplyDeleteSo far so good on the snow. It isn't nearly what I expected for today. I'm actually surprised the schools were closed for only this much. It can stop now (but they say we will get more this week) Ugh!
Robin, great family photos and memories! Happy VTT!
ReplyDeleteOH I love those Robin!
ReplyDeleteI love how they colorized those older pics, they really are priceless family treasures!
Your Mom was gorgeous! You look a lot like her.
Hugs,

LOVE this wall...a family wall....I too have the same concept in one of my hallways. What's really ironic is...the wall color and wood stain YOU have is almost identical to MINE. LOL

A nice trio! Isn't is neat how you can put the photos together and see Mom and Dad in the middle photo.
ReplyDeletefrom ur comment to me....the post is about my grandmother willingham, moms mom. Dad lived at 1515 and his mom died in 1957.

Aw, that is so sweet! Your momma is such a beauty; she looks like a movie star.
ReplyDeleteSuch handsome and pretty people!! No wonder you are so CUTE!
ReplyDeleteI had to smile at the bottom photo as it looks so much like my high school senior photo. Mine was taken in 1954. Forever ago, or so it seems. I must be about your mothers age. I love old photo's...
