Famous Couples Friday-Valentine's Edition!

Hi All,
I thought I would bring back "Famous Couples Friday" for Valentine's Day! These two were the first power couple in Hollywood. Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford. They named their hunting lodge, converted to home, "Pickfair." How cool is that???

    I love that pic of Carole Lombard and Clark Gable! They look so happy. Everyone looked so spiffy back then didn't they? We are watching the Pebble Beach ProAm on the golf channel. Wouldn't it be nice if the 4 of us could spend our Anniversarys at Pebble some year! We could play tennis too. David is a great tennis player. I love Famous Couples Fridays!!

    This..was a GREAT Valentines post! Like me, some had to go on without their soul mates..

    I wish Liz had stayed the way I thought she was. I think I always saw her as she was in "A Place In The Sun"...I guess I wasn't being realistic..but I was in high school. :)
