Tuesday

Hi All,
I had such a nice day off. I played Tuesday tennis, then lunch with the tennis girls. I visited a good friend's Mother, in the hospital, then home. My carpenter was here doing some of this and that in the Cape house. When something needs replaced, I always try to have it recreated the same as the original work, in the house. My carpenters are the best! I am sharing a few snippets around the house. Vignette above my sink...
I love my vintage sifter...

A little basket of dishtowels...

  3. That's neat that you are keeping the house as it was originally planned. Sometimes that's extra work.

I love that sifter, too. The vignette is so cute!

  11. "My Carpenters" Now, Robin, that phrase just conjurers up all sorts of projects! LOL!When we were building our house I had a "my carpenter" but not since! These days I'm my own carpenter and things don't get done near as quickly! Sounds like you had a great day!
