Cooler Weather

Hi All,
I told someone the other day, I think this is the first time I am actually pining for Winter! That being said, I wouldn't want to skip Fall, so here are some pictures from Fall's past. We are gettting a break from the heat this weekend, with the high only reaching 80!!!

    I am seeing yellow dry leaves scattered on our porch these days! For the first time EVER I will not be decorating the whole place as I usually do. I'll just take a few bags/boxes down and decorate the front porch and then take some down to do the camper. Same for Christmas. My, my. I never thought about not being home to decorate!

    I'm afraid we have summer temps through September and sometimes into October so it will be awhile before I think fall outside. I look forward to adding a few fall vignettes inside soon. Thanks for the inspiration. I love your home, so charming.

    Our lawns are so brown from the drought it might as well be winter! I do hope this winter brings lots and lots of snow...we need the water. I won't complain about the shoveling :)

    I am yearning for a bit of Fall myself. Over 100 today and just heard on the news that July was the hottest ever on record. I've felt a hint of Fall in the early mornig hours but by afternoon it's hot, hot, hot! Thanks for sharing your wonderful Fall decor and cute spooky house with Share Your Cup.

    I'm not quite ready for fall yet but we haven't had quite so hot a summer here in CA as in the rest of the country...until this week. Warming up over the next few days to possible triple digits. Ugh. But, I do love fall and, since we have warm weather through September and October I use decorations to give me that fall feeling. Thanks for sharing! Nice to meet another Robin!

    I'd just settle for a few days like today. LAST weekend we were to have rain and cooler temps. Had rain and steamier muggier temps.It was awful. Todays' not been so bad

    I LOVE FALL ...favorite season. But it would be nice to just be able to have some weather where we could enjoy summer a bit more ....

    But I love all your fall pics! :)
