It is really a warm, fall day in Illinois. I am prefering the snuggly, chilly kind of fall day, tho. I need not worry, it will be back soon :) I wanted to share some of the sights I see on my trips over to visit my daughter in southern Indiana. I am soooooo happy she is closer to home. We have lots of fun together...
I will just let you enjoy the beautiful drive I take...
We found our way to the Oliver winery...
Loved sitting outside on the crisp fall day...
Momma in front of the winery...
Just wanted to share what I whipped up for dinner. Easy peasey, pumpkin soup and corn muffins. Yum!

Looks like a special time with mother/daughter. The fall colors are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteNothing better than time with daughters. I have never made pumpkin soup!
ReplyDeletelooks like you were in part of the country...I grew up in Bloomington and now just live a bit further south......southern Indiana is just beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteGetting over there by Mary! The trip over is always so pretty.
ReplyDeleteWell girl ~ you know we are always on the same wave length! You know I made butternut soup. I thought about making corn muffins too but ran out of time (I was shopping for hardwood floor for that little job trailer I am refinishing). Indiana is such a pretty state. I miss living closer to it. I am so happy momma and daughter are living closer now. Oh and by the way ! love the scarf!!
ReplyDeleteBig Hugs,

Such a fun time for Mom and daughters. Pumpkin soup, sounds good to me.

No time is better than time spent with a daughter and finding things you both enjoy.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had such fun~!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE pumpkin soup ~ yummy ~ That gives me a wondeful idea for this weekend (it's supposed to be damp and cold)
Thanks for the inspiration~!
Aww...this makes me feel a little homesick. My parents grew up in Bedford, and my last grandparent died a couple of years ago. The farm had to be sold.
ReplyDeleteI just love southern Indiana. Even though I never lived there, we visited often and it always felt like coming home.
Thanks for sharing the beautiful fall pictures :)
Deborah
That looks like fun! The trees are pretty and colorful. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Robin: I'm so glad to meet you and the minute I saw your beautiful cape cottage I was hooked. I can't wait to look further on. Thank you for joining me at the Cottage. I wish I was closer to my daughter. We are about 4 hours away so that's an 8 hour round trip so we don't get to see each other too much. Looks like you had a good time at the winery. Who wouldn't? haha..Happy Wednesday..Judy
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Robin. You and your daughter look like you had such a great time!
