A New Project!

Hi All,
I can't believe we are already in the month of February!  I am starting a new project on my laundry space, in the basement.  Our basement is just an old concrete walled and floored, unfinished space.  My carpenter is over sprucing up the tiny space for me.  I will share pics when finished!
Here are some winter scenes around the house, until then!
 In the kitchen...
 Dining room...
I love my vintage phone (17.00 find!)
Here is the before of the laundry area.  Can't wait for you to see the finished space!

  1. I'm very excited to see your new laundry room, Robin. Ours is in the basement and it's so gloomy and dark down there. Maybe I'll be inspired to do something with it after seeing yours!

  6. Can't wait to see how your laundry area turns out! It looks very much like mine, surrounded by concrete. Hopefully you can give me some ideas that I can then give to my husband!

  7. AH another person that does their laundry in the basement! :)

I see so many fancy laundry rooms in blogland, lol...and wonder if there are any like me that go to the dungeon to wash clothes :)

But I'll tell you something...a house that I lived in for years prior to this one was prone to flooding and had a sump pump / the fact that my basement is always dry makes me a happy camper ; I count my blessings here ( also an old house...1917 bungalow : )
