Sorry I haven't posted in soooooo long. I became a new Grandma, so lots of time spent with the new little one. Momma and baby are great and I am enjoying every moment! Also, getting ready to help drive my parents to Florida, so they can stay in our home down there for a couple of months.
All this said, I couldn't let my girl Mary Tyler Moore's birthday pass, without a little tribute!

Now on to Mary! Don't you love that quilt skirt?!
The two level apartment, so love this!

That cute kitchen, sigh~

She was always getting a phone call, lol
She always had the best clothes!
I went right out and bought a coat like this, when I saw hers, in Season 1 of the show. Wish I still had it :(
Hope you all have a great and blessed 2014!
Congratulations on the precious new grandbaby. Such great pictures. Hugs, marty

PS... I DID see that Mary turned 77...good wishes for her too!
I have enjoyed your blog so much! Congrats on the new grandbaby! The very first thing that caught my eye was your lovely cape home and that magnificent Flair! Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the grandbaby, what a joy! I, too, loved the Mary Tyler Moore Show. Murrey, the balding newswriter played by Gavin MacCloud was written after my husband. Gavin followed my husband around the newroom for several days to get a better understanding of what a newswriter does and patterned his funny quips and remarks after my husbands humor. They became close friends.
ReplyDeleteOh, Robin - River is beautiful. Love the name. How can you bear to leave her? Does she live nearby, I forget? Congratulations to you and your daughter!!!!!!
