Vintage Thingie Thursday

Hi All,
I am linking up with the Colorado Lady and Vintage Thingie Thursday so I will repost my lastest find, a little Staffordshire creamer and some of my vintage magazine pages that I have framed. I posted these on Monday for my Vintage Magazine Monday post.

I usually already have this posted, but I am in under the wire! I have taken some pictures of some pages from old movie magazine I have displayed in the Inn dining room Clark Gable and Carole Lombard on their wedding day, March 29, 1939

This was a tribute photo to Carole after her tragic death in a plane crash in January 1942

An 1847 Rogers Bros. silverware ad featuring Carole

A view of the wall in the dining room with the photos...

And the opposite wall...

  1. Robin, I love that you have movie stars photos on the walls! There is a Natalie Wood film festival on TMC every Monday night in June! I'll be watching!!

  2. What a lovely idea for artwork. Very original and interesting. It is so sad that Gable and Lombard had only 3 years together.

  6. Your little creamer is exquisite, and I found your framed magazine pics fascinating! I would have never thought of decorating a wall with them--but why not? Wonderful!

  7. That is a great pitcher. I love pieces like that but right now I don't have a place to display them, which is probably a good thing... Your art is great.
