Famous Couples Friday!

Hi Everyone,
I think I missed last week, but here we go this week. You all know how I LOVE The Mary Tyler Moore Show, so I thought I would post best friends, Mary and Rhoda. What a great duo. The characters were so different, but they fit together perfectly as best friends, on the show.
That great apartment. How I wanted one like that one! They were always doing fun things like hanging around the apartment, crocheting and watching that mini tv :)
Everyone have a great weekend!

  1. Oh how I loved that apartment and was thrilled when I found a wooden "etc" sign for my living room. It was the closest I could find to the famous "M". Have a nice weekend.

PS what about Emily and Bob Hartley? Loved their place too!

  2. Hi Robin! Do you remember the episode where Rhoda talked about her "tummy tv" and she said that she tried to watch the movie "Tora, Tora, Tora" but her screen only showed "Tora, Tor"?? I love that line and it still makes me laugh!! Happy Famous Couples Friday! Oh, and I sure love that apartment too!!

    Love,

  6. Mary and Rhoda...brings back some memories. I used to watch both shows with my mom when they were in reruns in the 80's. Good choice to post about Robin.

  7. I remember watching black & white t.v., on a small t.v. Now we have huge t.v.'s that we rarely watch. There just isn't anything on anymore.
