Guest Cottage

Hi All,
Haven't posted for a while. Busy with Dad and therapy. I think they will be kicking him out next week. He has done fantastic! I am sharing the guest cottage with you, behind the garage. I have started decorating the walls in a vintage movie theme...
Some of my movie memorabilia on the walls. Darling daughter brought the olden china plate for me, back from Seattle. The pictures are of a young Gloria Swanson and Carole Lombard advertising silverware...

The little kitchenette...
A closer look at the handmade shelf above the cabinets. I had the sign made from and etsy seller...
Standing in the kitchen, looking toward the bath...
A corner in the bath. I used to correspond with Jimmy Stewart, so he is close to my heart...
The dining nook. The Rat Pack hangs over the dining table, which was my Granny's. I have more decorating to do, but this is where I am, for now...

Hope you are having a good week!

  1. Hi Robin! Your guest cottage is so charming. Glad to hear your Dad is doing well. I know all of this care giving has kept you busy. It has for me as well. Hope everything in your area is fine after all of the storms in the midwest.

    Big Hugs,
