The Patio

Hi All,
It's another beautiful day in Illinois. I have been working around the patio area. Some of it was tore up with the new addition, so lots to do!
Under the pergola...
Another shot looking north. The climbing rose bushes are ready to explode!
Looking south, the door leads to our new den. I bought two knockout roses to flank the entrance...
The trees are getting full...
And yes, glorious grass, where there was mud from the construction!
This is my Grandpa's old corn shucker. I will use it for a planter this summer. He and I used to sit down and shuck corn many years ago with this olden piece.
Hope you all have a great week!

  12. Not in this part of Illinois, Robin! It's chilly today, and the next few nights are going to be around freezing temps. Can't wait to see how those Knockout Roses will look beside the door in a year or two. I know they will be stunning!
    Happy REDnesday,
