Some Red at the Cape...

Good Morning All,
I haven't posted for a few days.  We are just trying to get over the shock of the fire at our Bed and Breakfast.  Life goes on and no one was hurt, so that is a blessing.  You can view that post here.  Thanks to all for you sweet comments.
A new day is here, so I am jumping back on board in blogland with a new post.  Thought I would pick out a few vignettes of red to share with you.  It is one of my favorite accent colors, to use here at our Cape house.
I left the red tartan Ralph Lauren tablecloth on the dining room table, from the Christmas season.
Love the vintage tray I found years back, at a local antique shop
I always leave out some holly and berries until March 1
There is Mama and baby keeping watch over the yard
My Granny's piano, and the picture that always hung above it.  What a treasuure to me

Hope you are all having a great week!

  3. Of course I love the tartan (you know I am a RL girl from way back). The tray is a charmer and I also love the tole lamp on your Granny's piano. My Mom used to have a lamp like that but she gave it away ~darn!

  5. I am so sorry for the damage the arsonist did.....both to your property as well as the emotional damage. My house burned in 1983 - we had to gut the entire house and start over.

    Love your RED!!!

  6. So sad -- I just read the post about the arsonist and that beautiful B & B. Sure hope he/she gets caught soon!

I love decorating with red as a big accent color and think it is just lovely that you are keeping some of your Christmas decor throughout the winter.
