More Fall

Hi All,
The temps are cooling off in Illinois.  That makes me want to nest in my beloved Cape home.
I bought a pumpkin cookie jar this year, very similar to Mary's.  I won't bother to explain who Mary is, as you must know by now what a huge fan I am of The Mary Tyler Moore show?!

Frosted pumpkins atop The Flair

Finally,  got my chalkboard door done!
Hope you are having great Fall weather!!!

  4. We just did a chalkboard door in the kitchen, but in green. The kitchen is my husband's domain and I am rarely allowed in it so I had to bow to his wishes. He only wanted the chalkboard to be about 1/3 of the door. We do like how it looks.

  5. Love your chalk board door, but love the Flair more. ;-)
A Flair was part of my childhood. Boy, was it a big deal when it arrived in our kitchen, so sleek and modern. One of my nieces really wanted my mother's Flair when she gave up her home at 90. I wish we had put it in storage for her, but it was sold with the house. I'm sure the new owners just replaced it. Love seeing yours! My mother kept things on top all year long, but I don't recall that she changed it with seasonal displays. Cute idea!

  8. I love that door with the chalkboard. Ad boy did you just send me back half a century. I remember watching Mary Tyler Moore and I also remember poor Rhoda. I think she was my favorite character. Thanks for taking me down memory lane.
