The Yard at the Cape 2010

Hi Again,
I am linking up this post with Cindy and My Romantic Home for Show and Tell Friday. I just came back from working in the yard at the Cape house, so I thought we should take a walk through the yard. Not too much blooming yet, but it is all ready to explode!
Down the way you will see reasons 1&2 Heeley and Hurley, why I will have to do some interior work before I can take pictures of the inside. Reason 3 (my son) is working at his job at the golf course. He really is an employee there behind the desk in the clubhouse, among other tasks. He and his dogs are moving in mid-June.
I have included a couple more snippets of the last wallpaper that was added to one of the upstairs bedrooms, so I will just let you browse. :)

  8. I LOVE the white fence! We SO need a new one in our back yard! The neighbor behind us (behind our gazebo) put up a beautiful white vinyl fence....and we enjoy the portion of that which we share!

  9. Thanks all for you sweet comments. Alittle about the picket fence. Our contractor who renovated the Inn, built the fence all by hand. I drew the design I wanted, and he cut picket by picket, then made each panel and then came over an installed it. They had it all painted before installing. He did a great job, however, I see paint and a paint brush in my future, as it is all solid wood.

  14. Love the wallpaper, reminds me of what we had in our foyer of my parents house. We put it up in the 70's and it still looked good in 2002. Of course we bought it at Holts!
