That is my favorite CITY! Love Chicago, everything about it. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteAh, my hometown!! Love the Drake. I remember the very first time we went to the Cape Cod Room when I was a little girl. The Drake is pretty close to my Aunt's building over on Astor Street, just behind Lake Shore Drive. Wish I was there right now riding my bike through the park. Have lot's of fun. One day we'll have to go there together!!

I love the Drake...have stayed there many times. Check out the collection of memorabilia behind glass of the royal family visits. Always wanted to have tea there. I also love the Knickerbocker across the street and don't forget a facial at Elizabeth Arden!

we'll want details, girl....glad you and your daughter can have these times together.
I just love Chicago. Only been there once but it's the first place I ever saw fireflies while we were walking through Grant Park. You have to understand - I'd read about fireflies my whole life but never seen them. We were just walking along after going to Buckingham Fountain and there they were. So Chicago will always hold a special place in my heart.
