Movie Star Monday, Early!

Good Morning All,
Happy 4th to all. I didn't get around to posting Famous Couples Friday, so I will do Movie Star Monday alittle early! This week I am posting about Spencer Tracey. 1900-1967. Probably, in my opinion, one of the great actors of all time, of any generation. His acting was so natural and easy. Publicity photo ca. 1945
One of my favorite Tracey movies. He and Clark Gable played well opposite each other...

Of course, with the love of his life, Katherine Hepburn...
His last movie was "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner." He was very ill and died a few weeks after the movie was finished. His scene where he is giving his daughter and her fiancee his blessing is a great one in film history.

  3. One of my favorite Hollywood couples...and "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" is one of my favorite movies. Rumor has it when Tracey's character gives the speech about love at the end of the film, he was really talking about Katharine.

    Love your house!
