Hi All,
I thought I would share with you what I have in the spot where the Christmas tree stood.
A corner vignette with my sewing rocker, fireside stool, winter arrangement in a Tiffany vase and a floor chandelier.
A closer look at the Early American rocker...
I don't know if I've ever seen a floor chandelier...I like how the shades are different! Your blog header looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeletePretty pretty Robin. I really like the early America rocker too.
ReplyDeletethat rocker and stool are so great. when I took moms maple hutch to 1515 I thought of you!
ReplyDeleteI love tour rocker but I am really over the top with your winter arrangement. I have been trying to jazz up my Christmas wreath to make it a winter wreath...good inspiration, Robin!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
I love what you've done in this corner. So pretty. Great inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI would love to visit your home. You have a way of decorating that makes me want to come on over! It seems you have this beautiful cozy and warm home.
ReplyDeleteI love the chandy... those mismatched shades are fabulous, Robin!

Cute and cozy and I love the chandy. Thanks for linking up.
ReplyDeleteI have an old rocker as well. Mine is not early American. I also have a little stool like yours. They call it a milking stool.
ReplyDeleteI love rockers. Yours fits perfect in the corner. Have a blessed week. Debbie
ReplyDeleteI love seeing what YOU see! Wish I could sit in your rocker for awhile! Your winter arrangement is fabulous! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteLovely, Robin...I love the light the chandelier gives off...
ReplyDeleteI love that rocker Robin and the arrangement is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI remember when my Mom always called her decorating style Early American, so just that term brings back memories!
Hugs,
Cindy

I have a vintage rocker, too. It's the one my daddy bought my mama when she was expecting me. I'll blog about it soon.
ReplyDeleteI love your little cozy corner. Those shades are so pretty.
Love the rocking chair. My mom had one that folded. It was made in Quebec many many years ago.
ReplyDeleteDid you know that worrying is like rocking in a rocking chair? It gives you something to do but it doesn't get you anywhere.
Fabulous corner, and I love all of the elements. I'm trying to come up with some post-Chrismas ideas myself. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the pretty chandelier... my kind of piece.
ReplyDeleteHappy TS...

Hope your having a great week!
Your header is "picture perfect," Robin! It looks like a Christmas card. I just love your Cape cottage.
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas tree replacement vignette looks sooo cozy. It's great that you had something so inviting to replace the tree with.
Thanks for linking to my party. I look forward to seeing what you link up each week.

Hey Robin! Thank you so much for moving over to the new blog! I really appreciate it. I appreciate the invite to visit your blog too. I have been so busy trying to create a new blog and posts and getting the word out my visiting has taken a bit of a back seat. I'm trying to do that some tonight. I love rockers in the house but do not have one myself. I don't have anywhere to put one right now and would have to buy one so it's one the back burner for now. My mother has a great sturdy wooden rocker that I sit in everytime I go over. They are wonderful when they are moulded to fit you. I also like your winter arrangement I am working on something "wintery" to show soon to fill in the empty spaces left from Christmas too. Thanks again for visiting, it's always good to hear from you!
ReplyDeleteUH OH...I came over from Sunday Favorites and I think you might have the wrong link there. :(
ReplyDeleteSee ya later, tho.
