Do You Wanna Peek at the Garage Apartment?

Hi All,
Not too appealing from here, but let's open the door... Keep in mind I have not decorated, but I will get to it soon. Need to get my Dad on the mend from his double knee replacement, first.
The apartment is at the back of the garage. Darling daughter stayed back here over Christmas and my Uncle will stay here during the summer, for fair week...
The nook where my Granny's table sits...
I love the olden "Edison light" that I found at Home Depot over the table...
The kitchenette...
The other end with one of the beds from The Daisy Inn and daughter's Eyeore(sp?), I know she is 25, but Momma still puts a stuffed animal out for her when she comes home...
The bath with corner shower and pedestal sink...
And the other end. I made use of every inch of space...
A view from the bath... I will share this with you again, when I have decorated :) Hope you are all having a great Sunday and good week ahead!

  6. I told my youngest daughter yesterday that what I'd truly love to have is a garage apartment with my own garage underneath. We had one once, and it is one of my favorite spaces I've ever owned. Love to be lucky enough to find one. Or even just find a great one to rent someday if these loud college kids don't move!

  23. This looks like a space with TONS of potential when you get to decorate it. It's already very homey and cozy. I like the table and chairs and the light. Bet your guests love having a private spot just for them when they visit.

I hope your dad has a speddy recovery and that all goes well for him. I dislocated my knee when I was a teen. Not the same thing, but I know knee surgery is no fun!

Thanks so much for adding this post to my party and for including the link back. I really appreciate you coming, and I hope I'll see you again next week. Take care!

I use to do that? Our cubby house is tinier but still cozy.

I love the light and granny's dinner set. Lots of remembrance.

    Happy mid-week.
