Hi All,
The mornings and evenings are now getting quite chilly in Illinois. Brrrrrrrrrr I love it that I can now use my fireplace in the old Cape house. There is nothing like sitting by a fire in your favorite chair :)
Happy Halloween to all!

Oh how I miss a fireplace! Dad built one at our house with a huge hearth great for sitting on! Someday maybe I will have on again. So enjoy
ReplyDeleteWhat a cozy fireplace. I love sitting beside ours too. We are still having warm weather in Georgia, so no fire yet.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
Happy Halloween to ya! It's gotten cool enough at night that we have the heater on.

ReplyDeleteI love your fireplace and can ALMOST 'see' you in that chair writing your next blog post! Have a good week. We will be off camping but I will look in on you when we return!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like a cosy fire on a chilly night.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for being a part of Seasonal Sundays.

I agree, Robin. I love sitting by the fire.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it nice how something like a fireplace can make you feel at home? Yours is beautiful, and so cozy.
ReplyDeletesuch a cozy place you have!.. I can imagine putting up my legs there and chill out with a mag on my lap and a big hot cocoa and plate of biscuits.. lovely!
ReplyDeleteYour fireplace looks delightful. It's still a little warm to think about a fire here but soon enough. Have a wonderful week, Patty
ReplyDeleteNothing beats curling up next to a warm fire! Your fireplace is so charming...love it :o)

It all looks wonderful. Yes, we all love our fireplaces and when the weather gets chilly, they bring great warmth and coziness to our homes.
ReplyDeleteI have my wood stove burning now Robin, so homey-enjoy:@)
ReplyDeleteIf I could give your house a cute award I would.
ReplyDeleteRound door? Shutters? Window boxes? Picket fence?
AHHHHH I'm trying to contain my insane jealousy. :)
Thanks for stopping by earlier. And I'm saving a pic of your house for inspiration!

Hi Robin...
ReplyDeleteWell my friend, I adore your Cape house and your endearing fireplace!!! Ohhh yes...there is nothing like curling up in front of a warm fire on a cold day...with a good book! Our mornings and evenings are becoming quite chilly here in Colorado as well! But I'm enjoying the cooler weather!
Warmest autumn wishes,

I've already commented once. But I come back and you've changed your banner. I got quite a sweet jolt when I saw it, because I just LOVE it! Full of color and I can visualize you right in there. Great job!

It has gotten cold here in Illinois!! Perfect weather for a fire...but as of yet we have no firewood!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your cozy fireplace and mantel! It's a perfect night to fire it up!
XO,
Jane
Hi Robin! Oh, who lovely and cozy this looks! I love a fire too, even though we usually have to turn on the air conditioning! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Hi, Robin...I am totally IN LUV with your header..It looks fantastic..now, I want to change mine...AGAIN...I change it every few days.:))
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a drop leaf tea cart like yours...*sigh
I love fireplaces, but my Yankee hubby prefers woodstoves. He won out in our current little cottage farmhouse. The next go around, I want a fireplace!
