Hi All,
Just a note from me to you from Daytona Beach. We bought a town home here last November. I have been busy traveling back and forth over the months, getting it furnished and homey.
This is the first trip hubby and I have taken down here, just to enjoy our new vacation home.

New Cabinet In My Bath

I am so pleased with my new, old looking storage cabinet in my bathroom.  Here are a few pictures!

I added some cute red checked liner paper...

I love how it turned out.   Now all my toiletries, etc in one place!

Something New in the Kitchen!

Hi All,
We woke up to cool temps this morning, in Illinois.  I love it!  I have had my carpenters here for over a week, doing this and that.  There is always something to maintain in an older home.  I think that is part of the fun of keep a home authentic, tho.

You all know how I love my olden Flair, but I have had that for a few years now...

My wooden cabinets are all original.  How I love the idea of that!  My carpenter added the tile counter top several years back...

Here is the new part!  We added bead board all around the kitchen and painted it white.  I had it behind the stove, but had it added around the rest of the kitchen.

My coffee station...

I love how it looks next to Granny's Hoosier.  I am going to paint it a soft yellow with milk paint, soon!

Looking in from the den.  I am going to soften up the wall behind the stove, as well with a softer yellow...

Ready for Fall!

Hi All,
I worked on Fall decor, the last couple of days.  Here is a little tour, around the cape house.

Atop the den fireplace

Granny's hoosier cabinet.  Mr. Connors to the right :)

I bought this ceramic pumpkin years ago, when the kids were little.  I put a luminera candle in it.

I put the baby gate up, so the poochies can hang with us on the porch
