Gentleman Jimmy

Good Morning All,

This morning I am posting a picture of Jimmy Stewart and his beloved wife, Gloria. This was his one and only marriage, pretty rare in Hollywoodland. They were married in 1949 and only death parted them. Enjoy!

p.s. Gloria was a model/actress, but gave up her career to marry Jimmy and be a full time wife and Mom. They were a great couple.

Mary Tyler Moore and Coffee

Hi All,

I have wanted to do a post about my favorite coffee pot for awhile, but just got around to getting the pictures together. You know my love for The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Mary. I loved the coffee maker she had on the early eposides of the show, so I researched and found it to be called a "Chemex." Used mostly in the late 60's and 70's. I found one over the internet and purchased it. They are sold at kitchen specialty stores.

You make the coffee by pouring boiling water over the coffee grounds and let it drip through. It makes the "cleanest" cup of coffee. I also have the grid, so I can keep it warm on the stove.

Birdhouse Tabletop

Hi All,

A picture of my beloved, Granny, autographed picture of Paula Deen(the tennis girls got me that for one of my birthdays), all my old tv series on DVD, picture of me and hubby, and one of the tennis girls.
