Some Christmas Cheer!

Hi All,
Sending some Christmas cheer your way from some of my favorite TV shows... (yes, I know I live in the past, lol!)
The girls, Mary and Rhoda decorating the tree, in that great apartment!
Bob and Emily Hartley from The Bob Newhart Show...
Who can forget these girls. Love them!
Darrin #2 and Samantha from Bewitched. I loved that house!
You can never go wrong with Andy. I never get tired of watching this great show.

  5. We were talking about old TV programs around the dinner table tonight. They just don't make shows the way they used to!

  8. Just one more reason why we are sisters! You know that I live in the past too. I was just thinking about it this morning after a busy weekend of rushing around but managing to catch a few minutes of Philadelphia Story, Christmas in Connecticut, The Bishop's Wife, Holiday, etc on TCM. I just want to live in the land of hunky dunky and I know that you do too! That Girl is coming to MeTV starting Jan 1. Whoo hooo! Okay Mary ~ let's decorate!!

    Big, big, hugs,
    Susan and Bentley

  12. Oh you and I are so similar. I look at your house and I could just move right in and feel at home and now this. I was watching the Bing Crosby special last night and the then Christmas with the King family on PBS. Some shows before my time but it was so fun to watch. They do not make television like that anymore. Robin I wish you and your family the most wonderful Christmas.

    RED HAT

    Red hat, I am lonesome.
    Red hat, are you free?
    Red hat, please consider
    Coming home with me.

    I need a companion,
    One who’ll warm my head;
    I think you’ll do nicely,
    Hat of brilliant red.

    You’re the warmest color,
    Not like blue or green—
    Red hat at the vendor’s,
    Red hat, you’re my queen.

  21. Fun tv Christmas memories. I must have seen every Lucy show ever made - several times, but it was only in the last few years that I saw the Christmas episode. It was great - very "Lucy." Merry Christmas.

  24. What a great walk down memory lane. Loved all those shows. I'm new here and think you have a delightful blog. I am a brand new blogger and ran across yours on one of the Linky parties and I wasn't even on it but I was impressed enough to come on over. So glad I did. Hope you are having a wonderful Holiday Season.

    Best Wishes,

  25. Hi Robin,

This is a great post!!! I loved all these shows, but Mary "Richards'" apartment was my very favorite. I use to dream of having my own apartment just like hers. We have some of the Mary Tyler Moore shows and the Bob Newhart shows on DVD -- love to watch them. :)
